My resources Revealed!

I decided after Christmas that it was a lot of work to put together the deals each week for this blog. Especially since I will not be buying everything each week that is a good deal and my reading list is small :). There are several sites that already do this for me and I use each week to put my list together. I have listed my favorites on the sidebar of my blog. Hopefully if there are any of you that are needing the assistance in putting the deals together, these blogs should be very helpful.

I also decided to change my shopping day from Monday to Thursday for several reasons.

1. I am tired of stores always being out of the great deals. :)

2. I thought it might be more helpful to you all if I post my deals earlier in the week so you can take advantage of those that I post.

Although I am not going to be posting a full list of deals each week I will continue to post my weekly shopping trips along with the resources I use. I hope this will continue to be helpful. If you know of any great sites I don't have listed let me know. It took me forever to find sites that were dedicated to Colorado grocery stores. I am always looking for more.

Overall I am very happy with my shopping this week. I was dragging my feet a little in my couponing the last few weeks. This shopping trip energized me a little. I could be wrong but my guess is the promotion for most of the snack foods will most likely be two weeks long. I noticed there were a few items that were not listed on the add so my guess is next week the ad will have the same promo with new items added. I could be wrong but that is my guess. :) Happy shopping this week!

Tuesday

MIA!!

So...if I actually have anyone who reads this besides Rachel then you know by now that I have been MIA lately. I am sorry about that. Although I am still a crazy coupon shopper and continued that crazy shopping through the holidays. I got a little busy during that crazy time of year so I just didn't get to posting. I am hoping to start again this Thursday if for nothing else but to keep track of my budget each month again. I am not really sure exactly what I have been spending each month, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it has gone down even more than it already had. I guess I will see next month. I have changed my grocery day so I am now shopping on Thursdays, so starting tomorrow I should at least have a menu to post. I will try to be a little bit more consistent in my posts as well. If in fact I am correct and Rach is the only one reading...be brainstorming menu ideas so we can collaborate tomorrow. :)
